In our efforts to instill the values of community and responsibility, the Office of Student Leadership and Involvement hosts Voluntoona, an annual event. Penn State Altoona partners with local community agencies to place students around the greater Altoona community to provide a morning of volunteer service.

Since its inception in 2010, approximately 2,600 students have performed 7,500 hours of service to over fifty participating agencies.

Voluntoona is currently scheduled to take place in April 2025. The specific date will be announced as soon as it is confirmed.
